IT Project Manager

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an IT Project Manager who can translate larger program goals into well designed project plans and assist the client in developing and executing innovative solutions to complex problems. You know that project managers touch every part of an organization and wear multiple hats, from caring for the client and achieving goals, to participating in organizational development, and being a key contributor to team success.

In this role, you'll transform larger program goals into well designed project plans and assist the client in developing innovative solutions to complex problems. You'll work directly with client to help ensure tasks are managed and executed effectively. You'll empower clients through executive leadership level communication, preparing stakeholder briefs, managing financial workbooks, coordinating and responding to internal and external data calls, and facilitating engagements.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience in DoD Project Management

  • Experience with planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering IT projects

  • Experience with financial and program management practices in a Navy or USMC setting

  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools, including ServiceNow, Jira, or Confluence

  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction, and help lead a team

  • Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams

  • Secret clearance 

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with FAR, DFARS, and DoD 5000 series regulations and laws, executive orders, statutes, policies, and principles of acquisition planning

  • Knowledge of procurement planning, pre-award documentation, post-award proposal management and contracts administration

  • SAFe Program Consultant Certification

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification 

  • ITIL Foundations Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
