The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s modernizing and creating efficiency in critical projects? As a Scrum Master, you know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need a Scrum Master like you to help us accomplish critical tasks that will modernize and secure Naval cyberspace operations.
On our team, you’ll apply your functional knowledge to coach a development team to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project successfully progresses. You’ll apply basic scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems. You’ll implement sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish Program Increment Objectives and Features. In this role, you’ll directly support the Naval environment by working alongside our clients to deliver impactful solutions. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in Agile project management while developing and contributing to a variety of project solutions that will ensure success for the delivery of services in support of the warfighter. You Have:
3+ years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) engineering and science management, operations research analysis, or financial and cost analysis
Experience as an Agile project manager serving multiple teams, providing tasking, and adjusting to shifting priorities
Experience performing Scrum duties, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, or program increment (PI) planning
Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to facilitate and coach a dispersed, cross-functional team in a virtual environment
Ability to support the Product Owner with maintaining and executing against product backlogs, including complex interdependencies of product delivery
Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Kanban, or Lean-Agile processes and methodologies, including their application to process improvement
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Certification or Agile Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Agile project management tools, such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Ability to guide and motivate an agile team, facilitate productive meetings, and manage conflicts
Possession of excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
Possession of strong leadership skills
Top Secret clearance
Master’s degree
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
ITIL foundations Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
