Defense Logistics Analyst

Key Role:  Be responsible for evaluating and analyzing the capabilities and capacities of allied, partner, and adversary defense industries, including assessing the effectiveness of defense industry production, supply chains, and technological advancements, as well as identifying and documenting strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Analyze and assess the logistics capabilities of military organizations, including supply chain management, transportation, and distribution systems. Monitor and evaluate the readiness and sustainability of logistics support for military operations, identifying gaps and recommending improvements. Identify and assess threats to U.S. logistics operations, conduct risk assessments, and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks. Coordinate and synchronize sustainment-related information and intelligence across various stakeholders, produce detailed reports and analysi

s, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures. Perform continuous improvement and training, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide support during crises.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience in military logistics, intelligence, or protection disciplines

  • Ability to synthesize complex information

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience with DoD and U.S. Whole of Government logistics and intelligence operations

  • Experience with supply chain management

  • Knowledge of international defense industry trends and developments

  • Possession of excellent analytical and research skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
