For an organization to transform in today’s digital world, it needs a robust data strategy and a senior professional responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the data strategy to drive business value. This role is highly strategic, blending technical expertise with leadership skills to ensure strategic vision, data governance and compliance, cross-functional leadership, technology and tools, analytics, and insights to provide decision dominance and information advantage.
As a data strategy lead, you know how to apply your creative thinking and analytical mindset to craft a comprehensive data management and analytics strategy. We’re looking for a data strategy lead like you to establish a roadmap for data initiatives, including timelines and milestones, and defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for data initiatives across the Army.
As a data strategy lead on our Army team, you’ll use your extensive leadership and technical expertise to lead stakeholder engagement and conduct workshops and meetings with stakeholders to align data strategy with business needs. You’ll help our Army clients establish a clear vision for how data can be leveraged across the enterprise to create competitive advantages, optimize operations, and enhance Army data sharing.
In this role, you’ll develop, define, and document data strategies and data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant policy, and guide the community in using tools, technologies, and best practices to enable data-driven decisions that are accurate, timely, and impactful. You’ll serve as a problem-solver and Army SME across Army account programs and opportunities, including providing technical resources, industry-standard methodologies, and proven techniques to lead data strategies and solutions. You’ll recommend data solutions to complex or ambiguous client challenges and apply Agile, Cloud Infrastructure, and Software Management expertise in defining the scope and appropriate approaches to new and emerging opportunities.

You Have:
8+ years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing programs, including data platforms, engineering, data science, enterprise analytics, and solution architecture
5+ years of experience with leadership, including leading cross-functional teams in the areas of engineering, architecture, cyber, analytics, AI, and ML
5+ years of experience leading the design, development, and implementation of production software and complex system integrations
Experience in a Web-based systems architecture and enterprise application environment, including big data storage systems, Cloud, and DoD networks and infrastructure
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with SDLC, including Agile and test-driven methodologies
Knowledge of Army Data programs and capabilities
Ability to pick up new technologies quickly, including new Web frameworks, open-source technologies, and mobile concepts
Ability to support the development of strategic partnerships with various government, academic, and industry entities to support and drive capture
Ability to interact with a diverse group of clients and staff professionally and deliver presentations to executives, clients, and professional peers
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master's degree
PMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
