Job Description
Key Role:
Provide direct support to a Public Affairs Media Operation to meet Department of Defense (DoD) and Combatant Command communication goals and objectives. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate, develop, and execute communication activities, to include response to query, communication plans, media and press releases, strategic communication products, and client requests for information. Advise the client on the execution of public affairs strategies, including media facilitation and publication of digital content on the command's digital media platforms. Plan and deliver engagement activities as outlined in command communication campaign plans. Promote and elevate the USEUCOM brand across media platforms in alignment with the command’s strategy for public communication. Work across command and component staff to synchronize communication efforts for maximum effect and ensure consistency in public messaging. Coordinate with Allies and partner nations across the Area of Responsibility (AOR) to ensure alignment of messaging. Support command senior leaders through media and press engagements.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with strategic communication and planning
- 3+ years of experience with planning at a 3- or 4-star level Command such as Combatant Command, Component Command, or Service-level
- Knowledge of Joint staffing functions and actions
- Ability to be a highly flexible self-starter and operate in a high-tempo environment under less than ideal time-management conditions
- Ability to manage planning efforts for multiple events simultaneously
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with European AOR
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or International Relations
- Graduate of Defense Information School (DINFOS) or equivalent
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
