Be a valuable contributor to innovative solutions for remediating per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and other contaminants. Support contamination remediation projects through general project management support, including site remediation design efforts. Develop remediation designs as well as perform design reviews for optimization in collaboration with geologists, hydrogeologists, engineers, and chemists. Review site investigations, site mitigation actions, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and remediation pilot studies, and monitor existing remediation projects, to draw conclusions for initiating remediation designs or optimizing existing efforts related to contaminated soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater. Conduct environmental field work, including groundwater level gauging and sampling, and providing oversight of field subcontractors for drilling, well installation, well development operations, geophysical logging, and utility clearance for intrusive operations. Support multiple concurrent projects with respective deadlines, and work closely and interact directly with existing clients in preparing or reviewing reports, work plans, design drawings, engineering calculations, and technical specifications, and preparing and potentially facilitating technical discussions. Manage projects and provide direction and mentoring to project level staff within our environmental workforce, as well as support business development activities.
