The Opportunity:

As a Cloud Network Security Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll research, design, and implement network security solutions to protect our client’s most sensitive information in AWS, Azure, and GCP. You’ll identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective cloud-hosted solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You Have:
5+ years of experience with planning and leading the development and operational delivery of complex IT network and Cloud solutions for secure Government and DoD information management systems
5+ years of experience with system enterprise network architectures and topologies, the design, research, development, and implementation of network solutions, and the resolution of networking issues
3+ years of experience with network infrastructure service designs, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, GRE, IPsec and SSL VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, NAT, network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, or packet analysis
Experience with AWS Direct Connect (DX) maintaining multi-domain transport services
Experience with AWS Cloud networking using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, or Ansible
Experience with firewalls, including Palo Alto, Cisco CSRs, or Citrix NetScalers
Experience with Linux administration, including RedHat Enterprise Linux
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with planning and leading the development and operational delivery of complex IT network and Cloud solutions for secure Government and DoD information management systems or Bachelor's degree
Ability to obtain DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification within 90 days of hire
Nice If You Have:
Experience with containerization and networking protocols and configurations, including Docker or Kubernetes
Experience with network security countermeasures, including firewalls, access control lists, intrusion detection, and encryption devices
Knowledge of network, Cybersecurity, and information security practices in a Cloud-based environment
CCNA, Network+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
