Job Description
The Opportunity:
As a senior Mechanical Engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to ensuring our military’s infrastructure is prepared to support mission requirements and integration of innovative technology. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who can use their skills to help modernize the Navy’s premier facilities for ordnance, energetics, and explosive ordnance disposal solutions. You’ll lead efforts to build, renovate, and adapt our clients’ facility portfolio based on changing mission requirements. This will require knowledge of mechanical compliance within an energetic manufacturing environment, including industrial systems with strict humidity and temperature requirements and explosion-proof equipment.
Our team supports the modernization of facilities, energy, and infrastructure to rise to the challenge of the changing landscape around testing. We, therefore, need a Mechanical Engineer who is proficient at completing facility design services, can support the review of designs for compliance with code and energetic manufacturing processes, and can work with autonomy to help our client realize state-of-the-art facilities through design, construction, and commissioning. In this role, you will directly support our Navy client with design solution development for mechanical systems and subsystems across a diverse portfolio of facility types.
Take on exciting challenges in the DoD with us as we improve our legacy of excellence in U.S. military research, development, testing, and evaluation.
Join us. The world can't wait.
