Intelligence Planner

Key Role:

Design, develop, and execute solutions in support of intelligence organizations, missions, or processes. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and may review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with intelligence planning

  • Experience with joint and combined multi-domain operations planning, campaign and contingency planning, and developing and maintaining base plans, annexes, appendices, and tabs

  • Ability to support and advise senior defense officials

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders

  • Ability to work at an OCONUS location

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with analysis, or Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with analysis

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working at a Combatant Command or in a forward-deployed environment

  • Experience in task management or mission management

  • Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process and its inputs and outputs, including JIPOE, Center of Gravity Analysis, Enemy Courses of Action, and Annex Bs

  • Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence planning

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Completion of DoD Intelligence Planning Courses

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
