Data Governance Collaborator, Senior

The Opportunity:

To collaborate effectively, organizations need experienced consultants who will take the time to learn the complexities of their mission and how data enables it. Our client requires support with their stakeholder engagement planning and execution, the development, pursuit, and tracking of goals for data quality, and the designing and implementing business process improvements to enhance the usability and usefulness of data.

As the data governance collaborator, you’ll develop an overall picture of our client’s current relationship and data structures. Through discussions, presentations, and follow ups from regular weekly and monthly meetings with stakeholders, you will enhance our client's data governance program. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience with data governance research and analysis, including on data policies, standards, and sharing agreements
  • 5+ years of experience managing stakeholder engagement for data governance via 1-on-1 engagements and preparing and running stakeholder meetings on data matters
  • 5+ years of experience developing agendas, preparing materials, running meetings, generating after action reports, and sequencing pre- or post-meeting efforts with stakeholders
  • 5+ years of experience developing and giving presentations to a range of stakeholders on a range of data governance, data quality, and data sharing topics
  • 5+ years of experience with data governance research and analysis, including on data policies, standards, and sharing agreements
  • Experience using Microsoft Power Point, including independently creating professional-level, client-ready presentations
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, including independently creating complex formulas, pivot tables, and power queries for organizing and evaluating data
  • Ability to document and explain how data is stored in and flows through systems and tools 
  • DHS Suitability
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with the implementation of Data Governance tools and technologies to support data lineage, metadata management, and data quality monitoring
  • Experience with data documentation and versioning
  • Experience with data dictionaries, glossaries, and cataloging tools to facilitate metadata documentation
  • Experience with data related to real property, government-issued property, and motor vehicles
  • Experience using Collibra
  • CDMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
