Job Description
Key Role:
Support the program lead for the incorporation of Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Act Public Law 115-68 mandates into the activities and mission areas that support the development of the joint cyber force, planning, operations, training, and education. Assist the WPS program lead with the integration of WPS principles in accordance with emerging DoD implementation guidance. Support initiatives to incorporate WPS considerations into policy, campaign, and contingency planning and theater strategies and the collection and reporting of WPS metrics to a governmental agency. Develop plans to integrate WPS principles into the Security Cooperation activities with partner nations, in conjunction with the WPS program lead. Support the coordination of overseas travel for international meetings concerning WPS, develop training modules and programming for headquarters and subordinate command staff, as required and facilitate the integration of WPS initiatives in command activities with partner nations, including operations, exercises, security force assistance, and engagements.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with evaluating, reviewing, and reporting on project performance
Experience with supporting Defense operations, strategy, policy analysis, or planning for Service, Joint, non-defense organizations, or foreign nations
Experience with working in military service or Joint staff, including supporting senior military personnel and civilians
Experience with defense security cooperation concepts, procedures, and execution, as conducted by Combatant Commands
Knowledge of WPS principles and gender equality concepts
Knowledge of military processes, methodologies, and orders
Ability to plan, initiate, monitor, and close-out projects
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with serving as or supporting Gender Advisors or Gender Focal Points in DoD organizations
Experience with working across Defense and interagency partners to inform and support policy analysis decisions
Experience with working at a major headquarters staff level
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Completion of Joint Staff-certified Operationalizing WPS 100 training or a WPS Gender Focal Point Course provided by a partner military
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
