Job Description
The Opportunity:
To grow effectively, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether standing up a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization such as through a merger or split-up, our clients need a consultant who will take the time to learn the complexities of their mission and provide them with tangible advice on business process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies. That’s why we need you, a management consultant who can analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and give them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision. As a general management consultant on our team, you’ll develop an overall picture of your client’s structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before.
You’ll work directly with clients to provide administrative, logistics, and editing support for the DoD’s environmental programs. You’ll assist action officers by managing workflow in the correspondence and task management system to complete end-to-end task and correspondence collaboration among different organizations within DoD. You’ll develop, review, and edit packages, draft interim responses, format packages, input packages into governmental tracking systems, and track the progress of packages. You’ll also manage a Share Drive, including creating folders for and managing incoming documents such as reports to Congress, meeting minutes, signed memorandum, Congressional requirements, presentations, talking points, packages and format presentations, briefings, documents, reports, and other deliverable formats.
On our team, you’ll use discussions and workshops with stakeholders and team members to identify the elements that work best in their environment and the areas for improvement. Once you have a thorough understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you’ll work on a path forward and the expected results with your client. This is your chance to gain experience in the environmental field while learning new consulting skills.
Work with us as we help the DoD evolve.
