Systems Administrator
The Opportunity:
Your combination of people skills and system administrator knowledge makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We’re looking for a System Administrator with a background in Navy environments to help us develop and administer Windows and Linux environments.
As a System Administrator on our team, you’ll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available, provide updates and patches to mission-critical systems, and ensure delivery through a first of its kind network. You’ll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.

You Have:
3+ years of experience administering Windows and Linux operating systems
2 + years of experience managing Active Directory Domain Services and Group Policy
2+ years of experience administering and troubleshooting VMware and Vsphere environments
Experience providing customer support to end users, including in person, through email, or over the phone
Ability to administer application, user, and systems accounts
Ability to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues, including software applications
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST 800-53
Experience with applying DoD STIGs
Experience in configuring and troubleshooting encryption devices
Knowledge of network monitoring tools, including SolarWinds or Splunk
Ability to create and manage network support documentation
Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber, or Information Systems
CCNA or CCNP Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
