The Opportunity: 

An effective healthcare IT program requires a manager who is passionate about guiding it through the complexities of its lifecycle. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, mitigating risks, and supporting a team with vision and focus. That’s why we need you, a seasoned program manager who can ensure our support to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program achieves success.

As a lead program manager on our team, you’ll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding, both the team and the effort. Our Veterans Affairs clients will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As an authority in the healthcare IT transformation market, you’ll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client’s mission. You’ll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. This is your chance to impact healthcare provided to our nations’ Veterans while sharing your knowledge and expertise of program management methodologies.

Work with us as we help modernize and evolve healthcare delivery for our Veterans. This position is a hybrid role with Booz Allen. The candidate is expected to work onsite at a Booz Allen or client facility 20-50% of the time, as needed.

You Have:

  • Knowledge of project management principles

  • Ability to identify project risks

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience in project management, or 25+ years of experience in project management in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with electronic health records

  • Experience with Veterans Affairs

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
