Job Description
Key Role:
Develop and deliver a variety of training programs to live audiences. Provide stand-up classroom instruction. Apply specific functional and working general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, as needed. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees, if needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with defensive cyber operations
Knowledge of counter-measure analysis, including identifying malicious activity and intrusion set activities
Knowledge of network and system artifacts to identify potential malicious activity
Knowledge of tactics, techniques, and procedures for intrusion set activities
Knowledge of defense host analysis or defensive network analysis
Knowledge of cybersecurity risks and warning analysis
Ability to develop, maintain, and administer courseware
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of encryption technologies, topologies, phishing techniques, Wireshark, and Snort
Knowledge of Industry Standard Professional Certification programs
Knowledge of computer security concepts and best practices, and information and cybersecurity operation, governance, assurance, and compliance
Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
