Job Description
Key Role:
Provide project management support to a federal energy client for research and development (R&D) programs. Work with a project team to support all aspects of the project life cycle, including project initiation, solicitation, and procurement. Monitor project performance against awards, cost, schedule, and milestones. Prepare written reports and briefs to illustrate project status and accomplishments. Coordinate and support meetings and conferences. Work in a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality output on time and within budget. Work directly with the client to assist with developing and executing research and development projects successfully. Assist with operational analysis and procedures, draft memoranda, and participate in multiple projects. This is a hybrid position located in Washington, DC.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with program or project support to government or research and development organization
2+ years of experience as a Project Management Analyst, Project Assistant, Project Coordinator, Scheduler, or Project Management Financial Analyst
2+ years of experience with schedule management, project financial management, quality management, scope management, or project management
Experience with using Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Project Management principles
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
1+ years of experience supporting a federal agency
Possession of excellent flexibility, adaptability, and team-oriented skills
Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, problem-solving, and client service skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
