Job Description
Key Role:
Support the Innovations and Capabilities division with operational assessment expertise, innovation, and an operational needs process that drives capability development to link operations, actions, and activities to desired effects. Engage with external government organizations to convey the command’s operational needs. Engage with the industry, academia, and the client’s Research Enterprise to monitor technology development, guide external investments in research, and pull technology from research and development projects into operations. Provide liaison and technical support to electrical engineering and systems integration into joint force operations.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with cyberspace operations
5+ years of experience in a computer science or engineering field
5+ years of experience with operational systems management
Knowledge of Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO), Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), or Cyber Protection Teams (CPTs)
Ability to develop written artifacts supporting rapid capability development
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with leading and organizing operational assessment efforts, including working groups, development of MoPs and MoEs, and data analytics
Experience with coordinating operational requirements amongst internal and external staff and agencies
Knowledge of Cyber Mission Teams (CMTs)
Ability to operate advanced functionality with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to think creatively and communicate thoughts, including structured narrative and visual graphics
Ability to interact with industry and government staff personnel and leadership
Possession of professional etiquette
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
