As a cyber threat specialist on our team, you’ll be trusted to help customers solve problems using the latest software like Tenable Nessus (ACAS), Tenable SC, Linux Operating Systems, and EDR tools. Using cutting edge tools and techniques and working with the best teammates in the industry, you’ll learn from multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations. You’ll help monitor security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary.

You Have:
3+ years of experience as an ACAS engineer and administrator on a production network
Knowledge of ACAS products, including Security Center, Nessus Scanner, and Passive Vulnerability Scanner (PVS)
Ability to install, configure, and deploy ACAS products on various networks, including Nessus Scanner, Agents, and PVS
Ability to design, configure, and deploy new ACAS scans and repositories using Security Center
Ability to conduct both network-based and standalone ACAS scans to scan standalone systems
Ability to install, configure, and update approved ACAS software on a DOD production network
Ability to configure and generate customized scan reports and provide scan data to cybersecurity personnel for action
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) - Infrastructure Support (IS) Certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND Certification
DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification, including CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, CISSP Associate, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with configuration of networks, routers, switches, and other network-based equipment
Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5, 6, 7, or 8
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows or MAC OS operating systems
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including using presentation expertise to convey complex ideas
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
