Job Description
Key Role:
Act as a seasoned technology product development leader focusing on the details of building great products and balancing that experience with strategic foresight and leadership to adapt as needed along the product development journey. Lead the entire product development lifecycle, especially from product definition, requirements and specifications to developing product execution through readiness to launch and post-launch. Monitor problem areas, defining or approving planned product enhancements. Build and develop a strong product team to create clarity and energy for that development team. Proactively partner with other key technology teams within Booz Allen’s matrixed environment to make strategic and tactical product decisions. Engage with senior leaders at external partners as needed to contribute to new product opportunity development and co-development. Work to gather marketplace requirements and set direction for future product evolution. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with technology product management
Experience with full product lifecycle development for at least 2 technology products
Experience in defining product requirements, engaging in product specifications, and driving roadmap creation and execution
Experience partnering with software engineering teams to make strategic and tactical decisions towards shaping and building products
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience with software engineering development processes, including defining and executing to multi-sprint and sprint-level timeframes
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience working with US Government mission customer
Ability to show patents, intellectual property, and published articles generated because of technology initiatives
Possession of exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Possession of excellent leadership skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $158,800.00 to $295,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
