Defense Mission Expert

As a Defense Mission Expert, you’ll bring your leadership, operations, and training expertise to work alongside thought leaders in the defense solutions area on projects for the CBRN or CWMD community. You’ll use your skills and expertise to develop user needs statements, exercise or experimentation plans, collect warfighter feedback, and inform advanced technology teams on priorities for product and solution development.

You Have:  

• 15+ years of experience as a CBRN officer or NCO in operational settings with responsibility for people leadership, equipment, and supervision

• Knowledge of the emerging threats and capability needs of CBRN formations across DoD or Army

• Ability to engage regularly and consistently with defense military leaders to identify priority capability needs, programs, projects, prototypes, and initiatives to deliver overmatch and decision dominance

• Secret clearance  

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience deploying with CBRN formations and equipment in operational settings

• Knowledge of C2 systems and the military decision-making process

• Ability to develop, maintain, and synchronize capability roadmaps and planning schedules for complex experimentation, exercise, and test events

• TS/SCI clearance  

• Bachelor’s degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
