Key Role:

Bring in-depth understanding and expertise of the client to directly impact our engagement with key stakeholders. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies. Lead projects to solve complex design, integration, and analytical problems and develop evaluation methods to assess client missions, addressing organizational, process, people, or leadership challenges to gauge where we can help. Lead engagements with clients that identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes related to our clients' missions. Provide mission and business perspectives based on expertise on the topic. Provide strategic policy, process, and people recommendations, direct technical analysis, and ensure internal leaders or clients better understand the mission.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience working at the Department of State leading technology management or operations

  • Experience with project management

  • Ability to develop engagement strategies with client stakeholders

  • Ability to understand technology or data capabilities and apply them to client challenges

  • Ability to lead assessments of opportunities through research and analysis

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience leading a project or workstream at the Department of State in the technology space

  • Possession of excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills

  • Master's degree

  • PMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
