As a Mobility Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will bring in-depth expertise in one or more key capabilities, including Airlift, Air Refueling, Aeromedical Evacuation, and Mission Support. You will bring expertise with one or more aircraft and operations to include aspects of intra-service, joint, and mission partner missions, processes, and culture. You'll apply your advanced skills, expertise, and industry knowledge to guide research and development of detailed capabilities and supporting documents. You will travel to client sites to meet with key stakeholders, facilitate working groups, and host information road shows.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the four Mobility Air Force key capabilities
  • 3+ years of experience as a pilot or navigator on a generation Mobility Air Force aircraft
  • Experience with requirements management and development
  • Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with aerial refueling operations and systems
  • Experience with tanker weapons systems
  • Experience working with program management offices
  • Experience developing Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) artifacts
  • Knowledge of performing analysis of alternatives
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
