Job Description
Key Role:
Manages the planning, design, construction and maintenance of physical infrastructures, ensures compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications:
11+ years of experience with industrial or facility reverse engineering and vulnerability assessment or analysis
Experience with engineering research, capability or limitation analysis, and reverse engineering analysis or characterizations
Experience in complex structural design and project management
Knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), NFPA, ANSI, ASCE, and civil and environmental systems industry standards
Knowledge of underground facilities or hard and deeply buried targets
Ability to analyze and characterize all source information regarding structural designs and evaluate the ability of critical assets to survive various threats and hazards by conducting analyses of the response of structures that house and protect critical assets
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
Professional Engineering Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in engineering with MEP construction drawing sets
Knowledge of civil and environmental compliance within an energetic environment
Master’s degree in Engineering
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
