The Opportunity:
As a Data Collection Analyst (DCA), collecting and organizing data can yield pivotal insights when gathered from disparate sources. We need a senior DCA like you to help our Navy client find answers to make a positive impact on important unmanned maritime missions.
As a senior DCA at Booz Allen, you will collect and organize the data on leading-edge unmanned capabilities. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of Navy operators and officers, engineers, Autonomy and Navy Test Subject Matter Experts, analysts, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You can employ your skills by merging systems engineering, test and evaluation, and cybersecurity data to create organized, comprehensive data repositories that will inform senior programmatic decisions leading to future acquisitions.

What You'll Work On:
Use your data analytics expertise to support client and stakeholder relationships.
Research, develop, and test data methodologies and generate cross-functional solutions through collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of large data sets.
Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.
Apply superior communication skills and data analytics expertise to provide expert data reports, briefs, and other products expected from client and tailored based on audience.
Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of databases and Microsoft Office suite.
Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
Apply data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides.

You Have:
Experience in management, leading small teams of DCAs for data collection at-sea and at shore events
Knowledge of shipboard or maritime safety requirements
Ability to get underway for up to two weeks at a time
Ability to participate in or lead pre-underway safety briefs and other briefs
Ability to effectively communicate both up and down the chain of command
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience supporting data analysis and collection of U.S. Navy systems, commercial maritime systems, or unmanned systems, or 10+ years of experience supporting data analysis and collection of U.S. Navy systems, commercial maritime systems, or unmanned systems in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with data collection in a Test and Evaluation (T&E) or vehicle maintenance setting
Experience with unmanned maritime systems such as USV, UUV, ROVs, and Gliders
Possession of excellent detail-oriented and organizational skills
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
