Drupal Automated Test Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Analyze a suite of automated functional and integration tests to increase software quality. Leverage a combination of automation tools to develop regression tests on an incremental basis and operate in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Employ automation techniques, including screen recording and data-driven and object-based scripting to expand automation capabilities on large-scale modernization initiatives. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a QA engineer with both automation and manual testing

  • 3+ years of experience with Drupal

  • Experience creating test plans and executing test scripts

  • Experience with systems, integration, and user acceptance testing

  • Experience with testing plans, documentation, process, and testing execution on multiple development deliverables

  • Experience with digital accessibility and compliance with Section 508 and WCAG standards

  • Knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, and how they relate to accessibility

  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, Agile and Scrum methodologies, and logging results using Agile collaboration tools

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of test-driven development techniques

  • Knowledge of non-functional automation testing tools, including JMeter or LoadRunner

  • Ability to develop automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or similar test automation tools

  • Agile or Testing Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
