Job Description
Key Role:
Create and deliver professionally composed photos, video products, and additional graphics as needed. Apply basic principles of composition and storytelling while adhering to branding rules and guidelines. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity, and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision. This position is located in Edgewood, MD.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, Audition, and Media Encoder, in a professional, internship, or academic environment
Experience with photography and videography, including multimedia design and development, in a professional, internship, or academic environment
Experience with photography, filming, and lighting in both live action and studio situations
Experience selecting music for videos to convey the intended tone and message
Knowledge of arranging and editing video and audio clips together to convey a message or story and directing non-professional talent on camera
Knowledge of typography, color theory, graphic design, infographics, and website design
Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts in a variety of fields to convey complex ideas to a general audience through photography and videography
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of CMS interfaces such as WordPress
Knowledge of SharePoint page editing and management
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of the importance of folder hierarchy, archival processes, and naming conventions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to pay strict attention to detail, perform as an independent, fast learner, and quickly adapt to new and changing requirements
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent file organization skills
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Photography, or Digital Arts

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $48,000.00 to $98,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
