As a Meteorological and Oceanographic Operations (METOC) Subject Matter Expert, you’ll bring your technical, instructional, and operational METOC background to work on projects supporting Marine Corps Intelligence Schools (MCIS). You’ll develop, manage, analyze, assess, and deliver METOC education and training to ensure Marine Corps intelligence and METOC professionals are prepared to meet operational demands. You’ll help identify, analyze, and evaluate complex training systems, curricula, policies, processes, and instructional methodologies related to METOC and intelligence operations in support of Marine Corps and joint missions.

You Have:
8+ years of experience in Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC), intelligence operations, or military training and education environments
Knowledge of Marine Corps Systems Approach to Training (SAT), Intelligence Training and Readiness (T&R) Manuals, and Marine Corps Orders and Directives
Knowledge of Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS), Course Curriculum Review Boards (CCRBs), and Program of Instruction (POI) validation processes
Ability to develop, manage, deliver, and evaluate instructor-led and online METOC training and curricula, including drafting knowledge and performance objectives and assessment tools
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience delivering instruction and managing Programs of Instruction (POIs) within MCIS
Ability to develop measurement devices, including surveys, and analyze measurement results
Ability to: brief and support establishments on METOC, SAT processes, and training impacts, and to analyze training effectiveness and resource utilization
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Oceanography, Atmospheric Science, Education, or a related field
METOC, Instructional Design, or Military Education Certifications
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
