Cyber Security Architect

The Opportunity:

You understand how to harden systems, reduce attack surfaces, and design security that enables the mission rather than slowing it down. We are seeking a senior, mission-focused Cybersecurity and Zero Trust Architect to lead Defense Cyber initiatives for large, complex organizations. In this role, you will shape and deliver enterprise cyber capabilities, drive Secure Modernization, and architect end-to-end security stacks aligned with Zero Trust (ZT) principles and DoD standards. Your work will help ensure government systems can withstand even the most advanced cyber threats.

You Have:   

  • 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical project delivery for large, complex organizations
  • 5+ years of experience in network architecture and design
  • Experience with architecting Zero Trust solutions and enterprise cybersecurity roadmaps
  • Ability to collaborate with technical, delivery, and proposal teams
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience in cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership roles
  • Experience selecting, designing, and implementing security tools for large federal, defense or commercial enterprises
  • Experience with innovative cybersecurity capabilities, including AI/ML, Big Data, NGFW, and advanced analytics
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience supporting Cyber Defense of DoD mission environments

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
