That is why we need an experienced Engagement Specialist like you who can provide strategic support to our client’s leadership on issues relating to health research and development (R&D) and breakthrough health technologies.
As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical advisor to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded R&D programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You’ll work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. You’ll leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. You’ll also maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies.
You'll serve as an Engagement Specialists as part of an exciting team to provide high-level operational and executive support in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Above all, you have a deep commitment to advance health and biomedical research. You will help clients plan both large and small events, manage customer relationships, support administrative items, track engagements and deliverables, leverage leadership time optimally, support the broader team, and successfully serve the agency’s mission. You will provide support to senior leaders, serve as a point of contact for the office and other agency offices, support events and engagements, clearly communicate tasks, and track metrics. You will be readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging requests and special projects. Attention to detail, flexibility, strong communication skills, and problem solving will enable our client’s success.
What You’ll Work On:
- Support client convenings, receptions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings, from intimate roundtables to large-scale innovation showcases.
- Manage end-to-end event logistics, including attendee registration and communications, materials preparation, and on-site execution.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and complex trip logistics for client leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate outreach efforts and maintain engagement tracking systems.
- Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and follow-up communications for meetings and events.
- Maintain event calendars, stakeholder databases, and project management systems.
- Develop post-event reports and metrics to measure engagement impact.
- Work closely with ARPA-H program teams, communications, and leadership to align engagements with strategic priorities.

You Have:
- 2+ years of experience in event management, stakeholder engagement, and travel coordination
- Experience in project or program management for engagement planning
- Experience working across healthcare, life sciences, research, or innovation ecosystems such as industry, academic institutions, startups, government, or nonprofits
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience supporting social media for events and engagements
- Experience with HubSpot as a CRM tool
- Experience engaging a broad range of stakeholders, including U.S. officials and private sector executives
- Ability to be well-organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking, problem-solving, and prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines
- Possession of strong communication skills
- Possession of strong organizational and project management skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
