SIGINT Analyst

The Opportunity:

Provide support for a military client as a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analyst. Report information meeting established criteria through various SIGINT reporting vehicles, perform short and long-term SIGINT analysis, and fuse collected data with various intelligence fields into reports to be used by partnering intelligence producers and operational military commanders. Maintain responsibility for research, analysis, and presentation to senior-level decision makers and SIGINT publications in support of U.S. and partner nation forces. Conduct comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as part of a larger analytical effort focused on current events and long-term trends that could impact client missions. Use SIGINT database repositories and analytic tools to interpret meaning and synthesize with other data to answer established intelligence requirements. Collaborate with national and tactical collection, analysis, reports, and operations elements to advance target development efforts, recommend collection strategies, support strategic and tactical requirements, and manage the development and presentation of SIGINT products. Use applicable national databases, cloud infrastructure, analytic tools, and scripting platforms to aid in creating efficient workflow, analytic tools, and processes. This position is located in San Antonio, TX.

You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience as a SIGINT Analyst
  • Experience with SIGINT reporting tools
  • Experience briefing senior military representatives 
  • Experience with technical exploitation and analysis 
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Completion of the A-231-0450, A-231-1460, XBABR1N231C0A1C Signals Collector/Analyst, Marine Corps 2621, Navy CTR C14/18/19A, Air Force 1N2*C, or Coast Guard 411G Course
  • Completion of the 451 Intermediate Comm Signals Analysis Course

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with collection, target development, analysis and reporting, and dissemination 
  • Experience in network analysis, counter threats, or counter narcotics with law enforcement and host nation partners 
  • Experience with research analysis, traffic analysis, target analysis, and content analysis 
  • Experience with the South American and Central American AORs
  • Knowledge of modulation, multiplexing, and coding theory as each applies to current digital and high data rate communications systems
  • Knowledge of additive randomizers, Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH), processing of digital signals, convolutional codes, and PCM analysis and scripting
  • Knowledge of tactical and strategic SIGINT operations, DNI and DNR methodologies, and database population, maintenance, and usage
  • Ability to use a variety of reference materials in conjunction with graphic and electronic analysis methods to perform signal classification
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Completion of the 452 Advanced Comms Signals Analysis Course

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
