This role is more than just coding. As a senior data architect at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, and data mining
  • 5+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis, including Python or SQL
  • 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools, including Qlik or Tableau
  • 3+ years of experience with distributed data and computing tools, including Databricks
  • Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
  • Experience working in a team environment for application development
  • Ability to communicate key value points and insights
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS or 10+ years of experience with Data Engineering and Front-End Development in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience managing classified and sensitive data
  • Experience with the full software development life cycle on large-scale, multi-tier, and full-stack enterprise applications
  • Experience with Agile engineering practices
  • Knowledge of the DoD enterprise data mission space and systems
  • Master's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
