Virtual Facilitator

Key Role: 

Serve as a virtual, constructive, and gaming training facilitator and operator supporting the Army National Guard Asymmetric Threat Training Program (ARNG ATTSP). Support Home Station Training (HST) using Virtual Battlespace (VBS) and other virtual devices to include VR and other peripherals. Develop, facilitate, and tailor scenarios to support the training, train personnel as operators and administrators of VBS, and provide Games for Training (GFT) general support for all gaming applications and services. Perform installation, operation, maintenance, configuration management for the assigned GFT Software and equipment. Report utilization of virtual systems monthly using the Training Support Material Army Wide Tracking System (TSMATS). Write and deliver storyboards and After Action Reports (AARs) at conclusion of training events. Assist with planning and providing virtual training across multiple locations, provide continuity, and apply expertise that enables awareness and effective use of virtual training assets to support training across the ARNG.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience using simulations to support training

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Access, and Word

  • Experience working as an E5 or above rank

  • Ability to travel in support of the Army National Guard client 25-50% of the time

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Instructor from a service school

  • Experience as a Joint Fires Observer

  • Knowledge of Virtual Battle Space 3, Virtual Battle Space Fires, and Call for Fire Trainer

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Possession of IT skills to include closed networks, license servers, and troubleshooting

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
