Job Description
Key Role:
Develop and support enterprise-level technical infrastructure solutions. Ensure the reliable and secure operations of our IT network environment for LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices. Troubleshoot and analyze outages, issues, or faults effectively and recover an operative mode promptly. Stay abreast of emerging networking technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements to improve overall network performance and efficiency. Provide support for network environment and systems at different levels. Collaborate closely with our IT Helpdesk, management, and other departments. Monitor and analyze network infrastructure with the assistance of peers and other team members. Develop detailed usage metrics to ensure current infrastructure needs are being met and future needs are identified and addressed in a timely fashion. Develop and maintain documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with managing large numbers of network devices and workstations
Experience with Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, TCP/IP, and Authentication Protocols
Experience with engineering, configuring, and supporting networking Cisco equipment
Knowledge of enterprise network best practices
Knowledge of AAA Principles
Knowledge of Identity Awareness and Identity Provider
Knowledge of cryptographs and network operations
Knowledge of routing and network design
Knowledge of Windows and Mac networking and certificate management
Associate's degree
Additional Qualifications:
7+ years of experience with IT, including Active Directory or Azure AD
4+ years of experience with information security and CrowdStrike
Experience with cloud concepts, information security frameworks, Agile methodology, and project management
Experience with technical writing
Knowledge of log analysis
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possession of excellent presentation, collaboration, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
