Java Developer, Senior

You Have:

  • Experience with Java development, including J2EE applications in an Agile environment 
  • Experience with technologies, including J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Spring, Spring boot, Struts, maven and ant build tool, Jenkins, XSLT and XML.
  • Experience with designing robust architectural solutions, including setup, build, and deployment of complex J2EE applications
  • Experience with mentoring and supporting  junior team members to support troubleshooting of production issues and maintenance of web-based software
  • Experience with database design, including Stored Procedures, DML and DDL tasks on Sybase database.
  • Knowledge of deploying applications on App servers, including WebLogic, Glassfish or Tomcat
  • Knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, configuration management, implementation, integration, testing, debugging, or production maintenance
  • Ability to generate  complex database reports and queries for the client with particular emphasis on performance tuning and work with infrastructure and tier 1 support teams to respond to and resolve issues and troubleshooting data problems for end users
  • Public Trust clearance 
  • HS diploma or GED


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with designing and coding stored procedures using SQL
  • Experience in working with Cloud technologies, including AWS and K8S
  • Experience with source control and configuration management using SVN, Rational ClearCase, and ClearQuest
  • Experience with tools that include Rational Rose, Eclipse, Tiny MCE, and Agile tools
  • Experience with configuring and deploying applications on WebLogic Server
  • Experience with developing J2EE Web Services
  • Experience with J2EE frameworks, including Spring and Hibernate 
  • Knowledge of RDBMS concepts
  • Knowledge of UNIX shell scripting
