Exercise Planner

The Opportunity:

Do you want to use your creativity, problem-solving, and storytelling skills to improve organizational mission performance in global defense? By creating and testing real-world scenarios, you know how to help the US Government organizations make faster and smarter decisions in training and exercise scenarios.

As an exercise planner on our team, you’ll develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for the client. You’ll listen to client challenges and identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored and provide a safe space for recommendations that will make a lasting real-world impact.

You Have:  

  • 3+ years of experience with DoD exercise planning in a joint organization
  • Knowledge of training and exercise processes
  • Knowledge of Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), and Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS)
  • Ability to use DoD Joint Training System (JTS) and Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) processes
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree   

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with project management, briefing, and writing for senior executive military leaders
  • TS/SCI clearance  

Clearance:  

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
