2022 Central Maryland Cyber Intern

The Challenge:

Are you looking to build your problem-solving prowess in a rapidly evolving systems security research and development environment? You’re eager to learn how embedded/application developers, reverse engineers, and vulnerability analysts all play key roles in the capability development lifecycle. As a Computer Network Operations (CNO) Capability Development Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills in C/C++ and assembly language, scripting language, debugging, computer architectures, network analysis, network protocols, and reverse engineering, to support our government intelligence clients. We’re looking for someone like you to help us have a direct impact on the nation’s security.

On our team, you’ll support the full lifecycle of software projects, our technical capabilities, capability and product design. Working on an agile team of experts, you’ll support the reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis of diverse software problems. You’ll inform operational parameters for complex systems, and leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to influence the delivery of your work. You’ll help determine what the art of the possible is – what can be done – and then you’ll bring it to life for your clients.

You Have: 

  • Experience with programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash
  • Experience with conducting research
  • Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree by Winter 2022 or Spring/Summer 2023

Nice If You Have: 

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
