F-35 Affordability Assessment Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Leverage business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit. Support a program office as part of a multi-disciplined team to develop, analyze, and evaluate both internal and external business cases supporting enterprise-wide cost reduction initiatives. Develop potential courses of action based on analysis of cost, schedule, performance, risk, and acquisition strategies of potential initiatives. Manage a portfolio of Program Management Office (PMO), Service, or Partners initiatives by championing cost reduction initiatives through established affordability process, including triage, evaluation, implementation, and reporting. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements during a job assignment in an Operational Command or supporting an Operational Command

  • Experience with a wide range of qualitative or quantitative analytical and evaluative methods for the assessment and improvement of cost and performance initiative opportunities

  • Experience with operational logistics planning and management, including performing independent work to provide logistics planning, scheduling, execution, and support system effectiveness analysis, studies, and evaluations in support of the DoD

  • Knowledge of Service and OSD policy and documentation related to Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS) and life cycle management of military acquisition programs

  • Secret Clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with cost analysis on an F-35 program

  • MA or MS degree
