Vulnerability Management Program Lead

Key Role:

Lead a team of Cybersecurity analysts and demonstrate expert-level knowledge of the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and execution of a vulnerability management program within a DoD organization. Apply in depth technical knowledge of ACAS, HBSS, and Tanium to interpret reports and communicate vulnerability statuses to subscribers. Develop schedules in coordination with multiple teams to illustrate the sequence of patching schedules and scan schedules and their impact on the reports delivered to senior leaders at any given point in time.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with the planning, development, coordination, execution, and improvement of compliance processes, including DoD 8500 series and NIST SP 800 series and DoD regulations and instructions, including 8140-01, DoDI 8530.01, CJCSI 6510.01, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

-Experience with Information Assurance vulnerability alerts from higher headquarters to ensure functional levels remain compliant

-Experience in communicating at a functional level with government leaders and developing quality and accurate work products

-Knowledge of scanning, patching, and data analytics technologies

-Knowledge of risk analysis and vulnerability remediation plan development

-Knowledge of industry and DoD best practices for vulnerability management

-Ability to display in-depth subject matter expertise with the DoD ACAS, communicate concisely with senior clients, and develop written reports

-DoD 8140 or 8570 IAM III Certification

-Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with IT program or project management

-Ability to apply project management and technical writing expertise

-BA or BS degree in IT

-Splunk PowerUser Certification preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
