Software Engineer, Lead

This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using Agile life cycle development, you’ll build web-based applications. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements. Join us as we build systems to change the FDA Mission for the better. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely

You Have

  • 5+ years of experience with developing software solutions with Java or Spring

  • 3+ years of experience with developing software solutions using Angular

  • Experience with DevOps or DevSecOps, and industry accepted orchestration and containerization tools

  • Experience with Oracle

  • Experience with Git, Subversion, or any other source control software

  • Experience with delivering software following an agile SDLC 

  • Knowledge of Microservices and Service Oriented Architectures

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree
