Key Role:
Support tradecraft development by providing expertise in methodology design, implementation, and deployment, tool evaluation and development, and data preparation and formatting. Maintain responsibility for identifying, capturing, integrating, properly formatting, and displaying data and quantitative results, including statistical and machine learning results for consumption or interpretation by the client's open source community, including senior leaders in support of open source requirements. Provide methodology development, tool evaluation or development, and process design or management support to the client in coordination with client directorates and subordinate service component commands. Integrate and synchronize efforts to assist with deepening collaboration with allies and partner nations or developing their capacities to meet theater priorities and counter security threats.
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of experience with data science or analytics delivery in a consulting role
2+ years of experience with open source intelligence
5+ years of experience with programming languages, including Python/PySpark, R, and Scala
Experience with an Apache Spark distributed processing platform, including Databricks or Zeppelin
Experience with the application of advanced data analytics, including data mining, predictive modeling, and advanced operations research
Experience with applying data visualization techniques to tell the story of the data and the problem and deliver the solution
Experience using software configuration management tools, including Git
Experience with designing, implementing, and training or deploying methodologies
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience working at a Combatant Command
Master's degree
Databricks Apache Spark Developer Associate Certification
