Defense Mission Expert

As a Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Cyber and Intelligence (C5I) Defense Mission Expert, you’ll use your skills and expertise to directly impact the Department of Defense’s (DoD) mission by helping determine courses of action supporting operational fidelity, experimentation, and prototyping. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications, makes you an integral part of delivering services to maintain, sustain, integrate, and enhance the client’s capabilities. These services will enable our client’s ability to implement a common standard for integration and interoperability across all Services and Combatant Commands. You Have:  

  • 6+ years of experience as a strategic planner, campaign designer, or plans and operations officer

  • 4+ years of experience working with stakeholders to gather, define, document, and manage both detailed and summary requirements to deliver solutions

  • Experience identifying and integrating Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) systems, capabilities, and technologies to support exercise or operational planning

  • Knowledge of Defensive and Offensive Integrated Fires and Mission Command Capabilities in Support of Joint and All-Domain Operating Environments

  • Ability to aggregate volumes of diverse information and distill it into an accurate, coherent story

  • Ability to support the integration of AI/ML products within existing and new programs or platforms

  • Ability to consolidate, integrate, and present data concisely to senior DoD clients

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with INDOPACOM AOR and Command priorities

  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative assessment methods to support war-fighting readiness, capabilities, and capacity evaluations

  • Experience articulating multi-national exercise objectives and datalink architecture plans to action officers and senior military leaders

  • TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
