Logistics Exercise Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Provide subject matter expertise of critical logistics information and operations to enable decision advantage. Coordinate and synchronize Joint Logistics Operations Center (JLOC) requirements to include Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Logistics Common Operating Picture (LOGCOP), and Global Command and Control System - Joint (GCCS-J). Produce briefings on the status of logistics operations. Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) related to inter and intra-theater supply, transportation, and personnel resources throughout the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). Develop, organize, and be the gatekeeper of all knowledge management systems and information stored in the systems used to manage the logistics operations center. Develop procedures for organizing, locating, and enabling access to relevant knowledge. Maintain high-quality, up-to-date, and searchable content for audiences of varying skill levels. The position may require non-standard work hours to support crisis and surge operations and up to 25% international travel.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience as a military or government logistics and sustainment operations professional

-5+ years of experience with Joint Logistics operations and planning

-3+ years of experience with supporting INDOPACOM

-Experience with using data analytics to support logistics operations

-Experience with systems APAN, EPIC, CAS, JTIMS, DRRS, GVS, Connect, MS Teams and JMSEL

-Knowledge of logistics methodologies

-Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and across departments and commands

-BA or BS degree

-Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies

-Completion of Command and General Staff College training

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
