Logistics Exercise Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Provide logistics subject matter area expertise in the planning and execution of Joint and Multinational exercises managed at the Combatant Command level. Produce briefings on the status of exercises comprising the USINDOPACOM J4 Exercise Program. Produce appropriate higher headquarters-level responses to Training Audience Requests for Information (RFIs) for inter and intra-theater transportation, distribution, supply, operational energy, munitions, and other Sustainment commodity area functions. Develop, organize, and gatekeep all knowledge management systems and information stored in the systems used to manage the logistics operations center. Develop procedures for organizing, accessing, and archiving knowledge, including lessons learned, after action reports, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a military or government logistics and sustainment operations professional
  • 2+ years of experience with Joint Logistics operations and planning
  • 2+ years of experience in positions supporting the USINDOPACOM area of responsibility
  • Experience with using data analytics to support logistics operations
  • Experience with systems All Partners Access Network (APAN), EPIC, CAS, Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) and Joint Master Scenario Event List (JMSEL), Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Global Video Services (GVS), Multi Partner Environment (MPE), Adobe Connect, CENTRIXS, or Microsoft Office products, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook Mail and Calendar, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of logistics methodologies
  • Knowledge of USINDOPACOM Sustainment and Joint Logistics Enterprise staff structures, systems, and services, including Joint Logistics Operations Center (JLOC) operations, Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Logistics Common Operating Picture (LOGCOP), or Global Command and Control System - Joint (GCCS-J)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time internationally
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and across departments and commands
  • Master’s degree
  • School of Advanced Military Studies graduate
  • Completion of Command and General Staff College training
