Military Information Support Operations Planner, Senior

We have an opportunity for a consultant to join our team as we work with our clients to develop and execute mission-essential priorities in real-time. This position requires the ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with military planning and operations supporting forces at the tactical and operational levels, including forces core competencies, TTPs, operations, and the environment's preparation
  • 5+ years of experience with working and developing DoD and USG interagency plans, policies, directives, and planning processes and subsequent development of operations, activities, and investments that operationalize campaign objectives in support of a Combatant Command or USG interagency, including annexes, appendices, and tabs for OPLANs or CONPLANs
  • 3+ years of experience with operational or tactical level military deployments in an interagency team environment within a Combatant Command's AOR
  • Experience with great power competition planning and operations
  • Experience with participating in joint and operational planning groups to provide MISO input to theater campaign planning, OPLANs or CONPLANs, response plans, and Joint Staff directed PLANORDs
  • Experience with information management tools, including the Combined Information Data Network Exchange (CIDNE) and Information Operations Coordination Assessment and Reporting System (IOCARS)
  • Experience with analyzing and evaluating information for assessments of developments, trends, and threat implications and measures of performance and measures of effectiveness
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS, as required
  • TS/SCI clearance required
  • BA or BS degree or 15 years of experience with the military in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with executive-level briefing
  • Experience with the Global Force Management (GFM) process
  • Experience with working in East, Southeast, or South Asia
  • Experience with planning and implementing military budgeting
  • Experience with Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE), Palantir, APAN, and ArcGIS
  • Ability to construct concise briefings, point papers, and executive-level updates to senior leaders
  • Ability to perform independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and exercise initiative in gathering, assembling, collating, and analyzing information for completion of deliverables
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
