RMF and Information Assurance Engineer, Mid

The Challenge:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture, but you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber skills to design and build secure systems? We’re looking for a specialist who can help to create solutions that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats.

As an Information Assurance Manager on our project, you’ll lead teams who provide technical analysis for information assurance (IA) support and integration efforts, analyze certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation for our DoD clients, and conduct research, development, testing, and evaluation (RDT&E) of operational systems, networks, applications, and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) information security (INFOSEC) products. You’ll conduct risk assessments, perform risk mitigation analysis, and develop contingency plans. You’ll work to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. As a team, we’ll take a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. Your contributions will help customers to overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like RMF, cyber defense, and cyber threat analysis. You’ll be able to gain experience in cybersecurity and security events, while building a critical infrastructure. Join our team as we improve the RMF and IA needs for the DoD through Cybersecurity.

You Have:

-10 years of experience in Information Assurance leadership, working directly with customers, and managing cyber or IA teams

-Experience with cyber defensive operations, including computer network defense, endpoint protection, or incident response

-Experience with cyber assessments or testing, including security control assessments, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing

-Experience with managing and leading teams on the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-CISSP Certification

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with C5ISR platforms or technologies

-Experience with Military intelligence operations in the field

-MA or MS degree
