Satellite Communications Manager Mid

Key Role:

Perform duties of the Satellite Communications Manager for a Department of Defense client. Validate Satellite Access Requests, Gateway Access Requests and Space Support Requests in accordance with established policies, procedures and best practices. Manage, adjudicate, and mitigate processing issues regarding theater requirements using web-based tools. Provide instruction analysis and instruction updates for United States Strategic Command and plans, policies, procedures, and information flow. Coordinate and work closely with Users, Information Providers, regional agencies and sub-unified commands.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with Satellite Communications Management supporting the DoD
  • 1 year of experience with operational SATCOM capabilities using web-based software tools
  • 1 year of experience with using Satellite Access Requests, Gateway Access Requests process
  • Knowledge of the Satellite Data Base Maintenance Tools
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Global Broadcast Service (GBS)
  • Experience with metric analysis and innovation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to ad hoc requests

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.
