Senior Network Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Analyze complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluation, selecting operating systems and protocol suites, and configuring communication media with bridges and other devices. Resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms, including e-mail, files transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing, and the like. Configure systems to user environment and support the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services. Support and the design and creation of the IT infrastructure of the project to optimize the quality of service, maximize availability, and eliminate failures. Support servers, data backups, infrastructure, and Cloud migration activities. Reduce the burden placed on its spectrum, use bandwidth efficiently, and secure the data and networks appropriately. Support Cybersecurity requirements and have met IC Directive 503 RMF.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience with hands-on network design, implementation, and O&M
  • 10 years of experience with systems engineering, communications, and project management
  • 10 years of experience with Windows, Linux, VMWare, and Network software products
  • 5 years of experience with developing technical specs and standards while working with clients on Cyber capabilities
  • Experience with requirements management, including collaboration and coordination with stakeholders to define interfaces through technical exchange meetings
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of IT resources
  • Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Python, or PowerShell
  • MA or MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology
