Business Continuity Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Support Business Continuity Planning, Emergency Management, and Personnel Accountability programs for an Intelligence Community client. Develop, maintain, or implement business continuity strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact analyses, and documentation of business continuity procedures. Plan, conduct, and debrief regular exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures, plans, and supporting documentation regularly. Prepare and conduct briefings and overviews to educate the workforce on accountability procedures. Act as a coordinator for personnel accountability before, during, or after a disruption event. 

Basic Qualifications:  

-5+ years of experience with emergency preparedness, continuity planning, or personnel accountability

-Experience with working in the Intelligence Community (IC)

-Experience with Microsoft office products 

-Knowledge of emergency preparedness procedures, policies, and directives associated with the federal continuity of operations, business continuity planning, continuity of government and personnel accountability programs 

-Knowledge of Federal Continuity Directive, including FCD-1 and 2

-Knowledge of personnel accountability procedures

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph 

-BA or BS degree 


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in consulting with DoD or IC clients  

-Experience with automated solutions, including Mass Notification or Alert Notification Systems

-Ability to take initiative

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of sound judgement and effective decision-making sills

-Associate Business  Continuity Professional (ABCP) or Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) certification
