ETL Engineer, Senior

The Opportunity:

You use the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to build a user-focused solution. We need an experienced engineer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to help your customer overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like microservices, Cloud technologies, and continuous delivery and automation.

By creating a custom investigative software product, you’ll directly impact an intelligence-driven and threat-focused national security organization by providing advance data discovery, analytics, exploitation, and visualization capabilities through application development and tool integration. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

  • Experience with Databricks

  • Experience with PySpark

  • Experience with Scala and Apache Spark

  • Knowledge of natural language processing techniques and tooling

  • Knowledge of Git, GitLab, or CLI

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Atlassian Tooling

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Elasticsearch

  • Experience with AWS S3 file management

  • Experience with AWS EC2 instance management

  • Experience with technical writing and presenting

  • Knowledge of linear algebra and vector mathematics

  • AWS Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
