Learning Technologist, Senior

The Challenge:

Do you want to develop training technology that will enhance Intelligence Community training? As a learning technologist, you’ll use your technical skills, creativity, and experience to use software tools to collect, manage, and publish instructional material content, and recommend tool solutions that align and support the business needs, budget, and content development requirements.

On our team, you’ll analyze financial and operational costs and benefits associated with a variety of human resource methodologies, including staffing and cost of hire and training and development, plan computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long–range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection, and work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. You’ll research and recommend network and server hardware and software requirements, purchases, system installation, backup, maintenance, and problem-solving regarding network and remote connectivity support, while evaluating technical feasibility of proposed system solutions, develop project proposals, oversee maintenance of network user documentation, including hardware and software applications, and support logs and related information for large complex networks.

You’ll recommend cutting-edge multimedia technologies and strategies, including blended learning to build a successful learning environment. You know collaboration is key, so you’ll meet with clients to not only gather information, but to also plan, analyze, design, and test computer applications to ensure that computer software and applications adhere to the organizational plan. You’ll be able to build your leadership skills as you share your expertise through leadership and mentoring. As a leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build solutions to your customer’s learning needs. This is a chance to use your deep understanding of learning technologies to build a creative learning experience that will engage students by combining multiple media such as text, graphics, video, audio, and animation. Join us as we improve national security through learner-centered instructional design.
